Howdy my names Steve i am 18 yo and i am 6'2" tall and weigh 255 pounds.
i am most likley the laziest and weakest 6 foot person you will ever meet. i sit on my bed all day long and watch tv. i am not able to do one pushup, one situp, one pullup, i start huffen an puffen when i have to list the 50lbs bags of dog food. i would love to be all big and ripped an stuff but i am just to lazy and have no idea what to do to get started because i know most people probablt start working out with muscle but i have none, my back is starting to give out on me and so are my knees and shoulders, i know for sure that if i keep on the track i am now i will most likley die before i am 25. i think it would be cool to look like Bob Sapp one day because he is freakin huge.

i know alot of you would probably get sick at the thought of someone or even yourself being like this but don't rip on me too much i do enough of that myself lol.

You have to WANT to lose that weight mate, when i started in Feb (not weight lifting but on the diet) i was 5 ft 10 and 268lbs, its not what 8-9 months down the line i am now 5ft 10 and 206lbs, i am still bout 30lbs away from goal but i WANT to do this. It will take time and dedication and ur probably look at 8 months to get anywhere near where u want to be.

It took u a long time to put the weight on...it will take a long time to come up.

Good luck and keep going, and use this board, i don't post often but love it

Nah man that ain't true, everybody has to start somewhere. if this is the body you have to start with you do have a little disadvantage, but nothing you will not be able to overcome with time.

Tell me what do you eat everyday, for example what did you eat yesterday( everything)?

And Welcome to IM :thumb:

well i ate a huge bowl of oatmeal, a 15 or 20 of those bite size candy bars.
the day before i had a small pizza (to myself), a big bowl of beef stew, a ton those bite size candy bars, a glass of long island ice tea, a glass of vodka.

Sounds like you have made a good start so far on your diet....now just focus some of that energy toward your workouts. :thumb:

The first thing you need to do is get your diet under control. Measure everything you eat. Have 5-6 small meals a day. Enter everything you eat into something that will track it (like www.fitday.com)

You need to be eating more often but less and definitely different kinds of foods. Low fat, no sugar, lots of lean protein, fruits, vegetables and whole grain carbs. No more binge eating and then starving yourself. No more chocolate. No more stuffing yourself with a whole pizza... actually pizza is out entirely. Use a calorie calculator to find out how much you need to maintain and then eat 500 calories a day less than that. Stick to this with no cheating and raise or lower your calorie intake based on hunger or how the weight loss is coming.

Then you need to start lifting weighs. They don't have to be heavy. You might not be able to do push ups or chinups... well that is because you are trying to push 250+ pounds, of course you aren't ready for that yet. Instead do squats - maybe with no weight. Bench press, even if you can only handle 40-50 pounds - that will go up fast. Read the stickies and look at other peoples logs and create your own workout schedule. Start light and work up.

Welcome aboard!
