You have to do a controlled drop with that amount of weight to avoid injuring yourself trying to put them down.

This pisses me off even more than leaving weights on the bar.

Even when I use 120s, I rarely drop them (through fatigue when I over-do it). I watch guys drop 80s from two feet up. Some douche-bags even throw them. That's when I have to tell them to knock it off. And every time they give the copout, "I didn't realize..."
 
That bench is not impressive at any age. And I don't post videos here because A) My content would be fucking moderated, as it always is on this mother fucking board. So why would I post quality content? B) I don't regularly find it necessary or conducive to my workouts to videotape myself while I train.

No, here is how civilized gym rats with etiquette put them down.

Once you fail, you return them to the start position. you then bring them together across your chest. After that, you push them forward and let the weight of the DB's bring you up. Then you stand up an set them down 1 by 1. I've done that with the 120's...you won't injure yourself if your not retarded and uncoordinated.
