I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fucking pissed right now....

So I am sitting in my room, and my roommate's girlfriend is bashing me over the phone to his mom. I have known my roommate for like 15 years and we are from a small town in VT so our families are close. Some of the things coming out of here mouth were amazing. I gathered from the conversation he has been saying these things too. Once I find a new apartment I am severing all ties with him, I have heard from others that he has been doing this but did not believe it until now. You know what sucks is that I have done so much for him and her it is fucking ridiculous. You have no idea how many times I do sooooo much shit for people just to have them fuck me over in the end. Well, I needed to vent and this is the only way I can do it since I don't punch or hit things. Anyone have any ideas as to how I could vent?

They both are. Anyway, here is a little synopsis.

He and I were living together in Feb. of 2001. He started dating this girl and decided she would be moving in with us. He said she would pay 1/3 utilities, I wasn't really too worried about it at that time, no sweat. Anyway, She never paid any utilities while she lived there and then we moved into her old place. Everything was fine for like 6 months, we each were paying 1/3 of everything and then, he came to me and said she wanted me out, which sucked cuz I had nowhere else to go. So he said she would let me stay if he and I split everything rather than her paying a third, which I think was more his idea than mine. I told him that was fucked up and he said straight up to me, "You really have no option, she said you are not gonna find a better deal anywhere else." On top of this I was unemployed at the time so they figured since I was getting unemployment I could afford it, weird logic eh.

Anyway, on top of all of this, I was seeing a girl a while back and he made numerous advances on her. At the time I didn't think much of it cuz we were just having sex, not really a relationship, but then I got to thinking it was f-ed up that he would do something like that.

So today, she was on the phone with his mother and they were chatting away and then she said that I never pay rent on time. Well, the story behind this is that I refuse to give him rent until the 31st, he wants it by the 25th, not to mention he has been upping my portion on the bills recently. Man I am too trusting.

In terms of giving him a second chance, I feel I have done nothing but do this. He is engaged to her and I want nothing to do with either of them, so fuk em both. I am writing a letter right now for when I leave at the end of the month. I hope they can find someone to replace me in the wedding, actually I don't really care.

He moved her in. Therefore, you're rent shouldn't go up or down. If anything, they're end of the deal would go up because that means, more electric, water, gas, food etc.........

In the begining, he should've asked you for permission to move her in, vs, just moving her in and that's that. That alone would've pissed me off. Kinda steppin on ya cuz. Not right! Friends that are true, wouldn't do that and, they'd have more respect.

Since you're unemployed, your "buddy" should have your back. She as a "lady" should be understanding! She as girlfriend to your friend, out of respect for you, should NOT be dissing you behind your back.

Oh, I am employed now, but that is besides the point.

The actual premise is that I said it was ok for her to move in, as long as she paid 1/3 utilities at the old place, she never paid any. Then, when we moved altogether, she just decided that since she was in school she didn't need to pay rent.

I have decided to confront him on Saturday and then tell him it is up to him if he is going to continue to be a dick or if we are gonna remain friends.

hey man, it sucks when "significant others" get in the way of good friends, as they always do. Your friend of the relationship(not just you, but in relationships in general), usually doesn't see it from your point of view because their minds are cloudy from "love" (mostly the sex though). anyways, good luck with whatever you choose, just make sure you do whatever you feel is right. that way you'll have no regrets about whatever happens, cuz you followed your heart.

I think you should nail her for real, take pictures without her knowing and then make sure you bring copies to the wedding to hand out to all of their friends and family. Vengeance is a bitch.

I had a really close friend too that turned to shit on me (actually he pretty much always was shit, it just took me a long time to figure it out) do yourself a favor and get the fuck away from them.

That's what I ended up doing, it was kinda hard and he did try to keep getting me to hang out with him and be his best man for his wedding etc. but I said fuck it all and ended up a hell of a lot happier. Stick to your guns dude

I would never bang her, and he knows it. It is soo funny actually. A couple of weeks ago, we were out and a bigger girl asked me to dance. I saw no harm in it so I said sure. Anyway, he was ripping me after in front of everyone and he asked, "D, why do you always dance with fat chicks?" So I asked him, "D, why do you always get engaged to fat chicks?" Everyone busted out laughing and he got real red-faced and said, "My fiancee is only 140." So I said, "Too bad that's the ideal weight for someone 6 inches taller than her."

He was kinda mad at that one.
