I agree with ya Pepper. We get bombarded by political nonsense all the time anyway. It's nice to come here and be able to escape it. People can argue all day long on the internet and it will change nothing in real life. It's a waste of time.

I hear your complaint about the political/religious discussions but someone has to set the standard so that the idiots can figure out who they are.

As I said before, never argue with a fool least you be confused for one. But that is not to say there is no entertainment value to be expected in playing along with the clueless ones.

I have come to realize that our founding fathers were really deviant political mavericks and sophisticated but closet blueblood control freaks. By giving us the apparent right of free speech, they, in a very clever but Machiavellian way, came up with a way to extort people's own propensity to "know it all" yet overcome people's tendency to secretly hide their true feelings from government (for fear of retribution). So we all now say the most treasonous, and obnoxious things about government etc. and think it novel and our right. In essence though, with everyone routinely accustomed to shooting of their mouths about all manner of things we all know who the malcontents are; and so does the government. It's better than gun registration. Think about it. When people finally realize that we do not have a real democracy and the governmetn is a powerless facade and then start civil rebellions it will be a simple matter of going to IM and such online boards to find out who to pick up, spank and brutalize.

I just hope i picked the right side...

It is comments and beliefs like this one that reveal the level of brainwashing Christians have experienced, it's almost disturbing.
