i think i pulled an muscle...

i think i pulled/strained a muscle when i ws doing deadlifts last friday......i stopped at 395 bc i had a sharp pain in my ass.....its like right above my left glute and to the side...it hurt like hell. and it hurts to move alot or sitdown real fast ot bend down to pik somethin up. ....wtf did i do?????
 
I know we talked about it the other day, but yesterday i think i had the same thing. Sort of in between the glute and bottom of the back.

Think it was because i may have rounded my back slightly or something when picking the bar off the floor. Possibly the same thing in your deads?
 
It's pretty much impossible to diagnose your problem over the Internet. Just ice it, rest up, and if it continues to hurt see a doctor.
 
out of curiosity, how do you deadlift?

CP is right in that we can't diagnose it over the net with a couple of words from you, but it sounds like you pulled one of your spinal/hip extensors. happens to me all the time, which is why i'm starting a technique program to make sure i have my form down for the really heavy sets.
