P-funk, CowPimp and most reciently gopro have really helped me out with training advice.:clapping:

I voted for Gopro because I think he has more experience than Cowpimp and P-Funk. I think both cpimp and funk are very wise on the subject of weight training though. I haven't looked at any of Ironman's stuff though.

Thus far I would have to say P-funk and CowPimp have helped me out the most, so i would have to say them. But I read most everything that comes in so indirectly they have all helped me a bit, they are all wise in their own way. I would think it would come down to what type of training/ program I needed help with. P is very knowledgeable about a lot of things, but especially olympic lifting, he is also a detail man which is something I like. P is all about getting down to business, working efficiently, quick and to the point while still keeping it fresh and fun. He is a practcal lifter. CowPimp I think is more philisophical in his approach. I like that he does a lot of bi lateral movements and is into bodyweight stuff. They both seem to read and research a lot to keep on top of things. They both are very open minded and are good listeners, they don't just spew off the same old shit to everyone it is always catered to the individual. What can I say I respect them both.

I would probably pick gopro because he has a lot of experience. Although we feel differently on a few topics, I don't doubt his ability to get people results. I'm allowed to vote, right? Heh.

Only if you do not vote for that troll Iron Man.

I'd vote P-Funk.

He's been around the board for quite a while, and hes a real professional when it comes down to his knowledge and statments.

Granted, I dont agree with all of his theories and such, but all and all a very smart man.

I would hire DMabry as long as he stays sober enough to get through the hour of training.

I don't post here too much, but I observe quite often.
I would have to go with P-Funk...knowledgable but not arrogant.

P-funk has trained me before in the past and he does an awesome job.

I've hired GoPro recently to do my training for a bit.

I voted Pimp because his style of training most closely matches the type of training that I do. If I were into O-lifting, P-funk would have gotten my vote.

Gopro hands down. I'm not interested in Olympic Lifting, and I'd prefer to keep my reefer smoking and weight training 2 seperate sessions. :D

Is that comment directed toward me? Haha.

To be fair here, I think a lot of you guys are basing your decisions on what the trainer's personal goals are. Really, no one should be choosing me. All of those guys are far more qualified than me. I'm just getting my feet wet in the training world.

Just because P-funk likes oly lifting doesn't mean he can't help you get big, and just because gopro is a bodybuilder doesn't mean he can't improve your vertical leap.

Depends what I was hiring them for. If i was playing a sport and wanted to hire a strength/conditioning coach it would be a team of P/dale/and CP.

On the other hand... If I was a bodybuilder I would probably go with gopro because of his experience and ability to get results. Not to say the others couldn't help.

Hehe, yeah I couldn't resist. Nothing personal, you are intelligent and quite knowledgable on pretty much every topic I've seen discussed on this board. I do believe that Gopro's methods however are more geared toward the goals I'm aiming at.

I had no problem with the comment; I thought it was funny, hehe.

Anyone who has problems with the reefer will have to go thru P-funk first, he is a pothead from way back. It's just that now he is on to black tar heroin.

gopro has a great training program, but I would also be interested in learning new exercises and theories...things that P and Cow do in their training. I think it is good to look at training from another point of view and another type of lifting like Olympic training.

No one, because you can be whoever you want to be in the internet. We all bench 500, squat 800 and are the coolest and most experienced Joes in the gym.

I know where you are trying to go with this.
But since you are so new, you have no clue what you are talking about.
All of the above names mentioned have been around for a long time ( with the exception of ironman ) and they have discussed and helped out tremendously.
Nice try, but you came off sounding like a complete dumbass.

i don't know about GP and CP and won't make any assumptions about them as they are, undoubtedly, very hard working people. But as far as training, i have seen P-funk train in person and have witnessed the passion that he has for the all mighty barbell and i can honestly say that, his is a level that i hope to reach....someday, with luck and a pair of balls the size of hot air balloons.

and i've known the guy since he was a 150lb 7x/week runner :D

i'm gonna catch shit for that last part :hot:

I'd also hire Dale but the combination of the two of us together and we would wind up passed out drunk in some sluts apt and the training would be for naught

Baseless and unfounded, I say.

I would never hire myself because I am too damn expensive and a slave driver!

But seriously, you could not lose with guys like CP, P-Funk, and Dale.
