So i have been on BGB for a little while now (say 5 weeks?) and i have stalled on major upper body lifts (except chins
) i am thinking about switching the order in which i hit the weights in to see how i do, for example
friday is typically:
Assisted chin's 5x5
hammer machine (or neutral grip cable) pulldowns 3x8 - weight is stuck
standing overhead BB press 5x5 - staying the same or worse weekly
Side raises 3x8 - improving on these actually
Bicep work - not a problem (yeah i know i said bicep work. im shedding the gut, but it comes a point in every man's life where he says, shit, my (insert muscle group) is the worst. mine is biceps)
so,
what i am thinking here is to switch over to this
Standing BB Overhead Press 5x5
Side db raises 3x8
Assisted Chins 5x5
hammer/neutral pull down 3x8
bicep work
thoughts and feelings? i know its only been so long, but ffs, i know i am far from how strong i should be right now, given injuries that set me back over the past 6 months.
