Irony: Cell phones and driving

So I'm watching cash cab, and I've seen it before but this little twist of American living just dawned on me. Several jurisdictions across the U.S. are ticketing ppl for driving while on their phone while this guy is driving the streets of New York while HOSTING A GAME SHOW! I mean come on.
Officer: "I'm sorry sir I'll have to issue this ticket for driving while using your phone...."
Driver: "What was that?"
Officer: "Oh that was cash cab. He drives around with flashing neon lights and camera's plugged in all over his car while he quizzes his passengers and gives them special challenges at red lights. It's really cool."

What the hell is up with that.

I never thought of it that way. I watch the show all the time and just thought it was cool. It's true though in the state of NY you can't drive and talk on a cell phone. There is a big sign as you enter the state that says just that.

well obviously but it's still ironic......such a buzz kill manic....by the way I had my second interview today with a local hospital......pray that I graduate.
