none of your stats:laugh: Are u sure you can squat 435?:nope:

oman no1 believes me on my stats yes i can squat that im not the strongest in my school on squats i have a 15 year old friend that squats 475 90 degrees just like me

How much more butt kissing are you looking for exactly?

lol im just wonderin cuz ive been told i need to go into comp dont think id do good
i just maxed out on bench got up 265 like i said.and i have pics i told i would get now i just have to get them on here itll be sometime 2night.

Compete if you are interested in it, I dont know that I'd say do it just because someone told you. There are plenty of full grown men who can't bench over 200.

ur not one of them are ya Mudge?:)

lol nice 1 oaktown id love to compete itd be so much fun !!!!!!!!!!!!
id just think id get killed i dont know??

The only way to find out is to try it.

yeah ill think about it but i cant unless im just focused on that i play football and wrestle i wouldnt be able to train like i needed to,to be able to compete.

1135 is ok. Its not great for your weight class. In a subpar tournament you can probably place, but the 220lb. weight class is brutal bro. There a lot of guys there who total 1400+. That is for an open tournament though. If you're in state where they have powerlifting by classes, then I'd say you're in pretty damn good shape.

lol thinks yuh i just got done lookin at some big ass guys but thats all they do is lift weights if i didnt play sports id do it.

i have friend well not really a freind ,a rival thats benching 345 at 15, i hate his ass but he has week legs very weak i total more than him he squats like 250-275lol

o yeah did i mension hes on roids at 15 (his dad is nuts)

ya i play basketball too and thats a big reason i stay lean. I would never give up playing a sport I love just to get stronger.

No, but I'm not he-man either, 275x7 or 330-335 is my current max, I dont do 1RM lately though so I can only go by the chart. I'm busy trying to cut.

thats pretty good mudge how old are you??
i feel ya on the sports tiger.
why is there no need to max out once ur out of highschool.??

there is a guy that goes to bolton high school that wrestled in 275 weight class hes graduated now he benched an amazing 565.
now he was a senior that had stretch marks on his arms that looked like snakes no joke ty god for not letting him be in my weight class *lol*

ps:he was a bluechip in football *lol*

in HS you max out as a sort of competition between the players to get you excited about working out. You don't realize it now but you will soon. After you get out theres no one to impress. You can track your progress in other ways like increasing the weight on your sets. Then you don't get so obsessed on the highest weight possible.

im am pretty obsessive about weight lifting thats all i talk about thats why i got on this forum*lol*i love being stronger than other people .!!!!!!!!:adore: :lifter: :adore:

ya but a lot of other people aren't that obsessed. The coaches use maxing out to spark the competition so you'll want to lift more than everybody else. If not, then no one would lift weights.

TRUE you read about that kid from bolton???
that ....that.....manchild
lol

27.

how long have u worked out mudge???????

Off and on since I was 11, I wanted my first weight set at 7 but they were all sand weights back then and all broken up. When I was a kid one of my friends dad was an NPC competitor, and our barber was also a national lifter, as was his wife.

lol a powerlifting family huh thats pretty kool!!!!

My younger brother lifts, nobody else in my family.

Jesse Kellum just joined another board I'm at, here are his totals:
WPO 198lb class champion.
909.4lb squat @ 198lb class
735lb bench press @ 220lb class

He has a 2,234.4lb total in the 198lb class!

The poundages lifted by high school students are "eye-catching." These lifts exceed those of most adult non-competitive trainers. What do you--Heavyweight 1987--think is the reason for this?

When I was in high school there was a very large 15 year old breaking teen records at that time, benching well into the 500s.

WOW 15 thats amazing ---i beleive it is because your open to it just about all schools have a weight program and a weight room if it doesnt it doesnt have any sports.kids compete against each other therefor they work out to be strong.(i work out to be strong not for the looks)so we exceed adults.that care about being fit moree than being strong.
