Is it better to eat the skin or not on a potato?

The skin of the potato contains the majority of the potato's fiber, and many of the nutrients (especially vitamin C) are located close to the skin.

If they are sweet potatoes or red potatoes the skins are edible. Regular white potatoes the skin can taste terrible. But that also depends on the variety.

Is there any fruit/vegetable/legume whose skin is NOT healthy to eat?

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Make sure its cleaned properly. Just like ForemanRules said, it contains most of the fiber.

:hmmm:

Avocado... :shake: I also imagine passionfruit skin would be a little tough... And mango skin wouldn't be too good either....

:p

There is no way in heaven I would eat banana skin either

A fairly knowledgeable bodybuilder saw me eating a sweet potato last week and told me not to eat the skin.

Would be curious if there's any more thoughts on this?

Maybe sweet potato skin is hard to digest.

Hmmm... Maybe they don't like the skin! :p

There is really no reason not to eat it... It has a good portion of fibre and vitamins/minerals in it.
