okay, i've started to lift again, 3 weeks ago, before i stopped i was benching 165, 2 times. that was when school was in session during june, so ive got about 5 month off, with almost zero lifting

now i'm struggling with 115 6 times, i was also struggling wit doing 105 10 times, is it possible to lose so much strength?

ive also noticed that while curling or do arm shrugs, i lose my grip after a while and while doing bench press, my arms wiggle around.
i usually stop doing curls and what not, not because my biceps are tired, but instead because my hands can't hold on to the weights.

is there a problem? or is it natural

another weird, think, the first day that i got back to lifting, i could do 115 10 reps without too much problem, but now, im struggling wit it, so ive moved down to 95.

could it be my diet? since i just moved out for college and i'm eatin cafeteria food, usually at home, i eat rice and oily stuff (becase that what we chinese people eat). now i eat a salad during every meal and whatever dishes they have out.

what exactly is my problem? i don't have some weird disease do i? ill be able to get my strength back right?

thanks for reading

IMO I would say yes, after five months of no work you can drop that much, esp. if you were only able to get 165 up twice. It sounds like you had just gotten to that level.

The good news is that if you stay consistent and keep hitting it intensely and eat right, your muscles will snap back relatively quick. Salad is okay, but with every meal won't do it - you need lots of protein. Get the protein (lots of it), hit the weights regularly (no slacking!) and you should find yourself at least close to your previous peaks in a short amount of time.

And no, I don't think you have any diseases.

bah, just when i start drinking my protein shakes, im sick, bah!

Maybe you should try another brand. There's lots of whey protein formulas out there that aren't too bad. I use the plain old GNC whey protein chocolate flavored one and mix it with milk. It says you should mix it with water, but since I'm not really worried about gaining weight I don't consider that an issue, and I do think it would be nasty mixed in water. With milk, it tastes like chocolate milk to me. Granted GNC is over-priced and there are probably better brands out there, but it works for me.

I think he means he has a cold?

Take your vit C :)

yeah, not its a fever, bah

i was out all night on friday, walking around dowtown 4 o'clock in the morning in seattle

Ahhh. Now I see the light (sometimes the synapses don't fire correctly).

Yeah, those 4-in-the-morning walks in Seattle this time of year can have that effect on a person. Like Scotty said - get lots of the vitamin C stuff. Get well, then get on the protein.
