I like the idea of organic foods. Taste-wise it's usually difficult to tell the difference, but to limit pesticide exposure as much as possible seems sensible. USDA organic livestock must be kept in more humane conditions (clean bedding, access to outdoors) which is a bit of a guilt relief when eating animals. I do have some concerns about the regulation of the organic industry in Canada, it's not very stringent and they don't have anywhere near the number of inspectors that they need to guarantee that the stuff you get in the store is really grown organically.
