I really dont think i'm doing enough sets for each muscle group. Here is what i do for my back, and the set number is about the same for each group.

Seated rows

Reps
10
10
10

Lat pull down

10
10
10

Shrugs

10
10
10

Is that enough for my upper Back?

Pullups instead of lat pulldowns, in my opinion, are better. Bent rows are good.

If you see improvements, then it is enough.

I weigh too much to get a good set of pullups in. I have to do pulldowns. Maybe hes in the same boat. Bump on the bent rows.

Hello matt. I just installed bar dip and pull up bar in the living room. fuck those pull ups are crazy. i tried one for the first time in over 30 yrs. using a wide grip i got my head to touch the bar. Pretty tough for this old man at 276 lbs.

whatever works for you, I personally like Deads, Bent over rows, pulldowns and seated rows with a close grip :thumb:

i don't believe in a preset # of sets or # of reps per set. whatever it takes to reach failure. i'd say focus more on not overtraining if u are new.
