As mods we can read all the rep comments and PM's so we know who needs to be negged and who needs to be repped. As Saney would say some of you are on "thin ice" with certain mods.

You need to rep 9 or 10 other people before repping the same person again. Pretty sure that's how it works. And like XYZ said, you get 20 reps or negs in a 24hr period.

It's just an option. There are no perks other than watching some people literally melt down over a few red dots.

But, yeah, I Like a lot of posts as well as repping members. For me it's like an attaboy to receive a Like or a rep. I'm bad about giving comments, but those are always welcome, too.

Also I rarely say "Thank you" to those who rep me.

Anyway, they're just dots. Otoh, if you find yourself swimming in a sea of red they're also a good indication that you've stepped in it somewhere along the line.
