Jealousy

If only God is perfect, then it is "perfectly normal" to attribute err to mankind.

ok ok listen mudge, we are talking about FEELINGS! not evil desires....
Jealousy is a natural feeling to ALL humans...i certainly hope murding and cheating on ur wife is not natural to humans...or else we might all just as well die, because we are a pointless race

Cheating is human nature. It was never meant for a human to be with one person forever.

That is the smartest thing I heard all day :)

Humans are promiscuous creatures yes, but we have brains that we can beat these desires with, if one so chooses.

Yup. If a dove can do it, I sure as hell can!

Agreed. Monogomy is completely unnatural, but we definitely have the ability to resist our predispositions

68 Camaro, with a vinyl top. When GM put those out, little did they know that the adhesive used would eat through paint and cause rust, good job General! The ultimate Camaro was the 1969 ZL1, which hardly sold for beans due to the massive expense. They ended up getting sold at steep discounts, there were only 2 of the 69 ZL1 Corvettes made and I believe they ran 10 grand, about the price of a Ferrari at the time.

With no internal mods or cam swaps (carb jetting changes yes), 2 1/8" primary headers, and I forget what else, the ZL1 went from 375 HP to 525. They were rated much higher than reality because manufacturers used to remove things like water pumps from the cars when dyno testing, giving a completely unrealistic number. They would also use race headers frequently in a near open exaust format.

The ZL1 was a 427 aluminum block, the Don Yenko cars were iron block 427s swapped out from the 396 cars. There were two other special COPO dealers that escape my brain.

Damn... The car glossary himself :D

If I were sharper I could have said alot more, but Camaros are my car dé choice. When I was younger my two favorite cars were first gen Camaros and the Countach, of the two the only one that still gets my appreciation is the Camaro. The Countach was neat for its day, but if you listen to anyone who has driven one, they are a bit discusting to even think about driving.

I used to have an entire wall covered with nothing but pictures of first gen cars, including a ZL1 with a dual carb, tunnel ram intake setup, fat meats out back, very mean looking.

One of the other Copo variations of the 427 Camaro, was blue with a white hockey stripe by default, and the dealership starts with a B I believe, just can't place it. Don Yenko was the most well known though.

Muscle cars though, last forever. Its not a techy kind of car like a Countach was. One person who I like (sense of humor wise) describes it as "driving a washing machine, only the visibility is worse." Since it lasted for ~25 years though, there were many variations of the Countach, both by weight and power output. The accelleration stayed pretty much the same, since part of that is decided with weight, but the increased HP helped top end and weight does not effect that as much. Top end is the land of aero work and HP, along with aero goes the lack of friction.

Damn... I wish I was around when you guys got to drive kick ass muscle cars. I remember my mom said she had a Dodge Super Bee or something. I like 4x4's personally :D

Actually Mudge, they didn't do to badly. The vinyl top you see in my photo is the original 68 top (36 years old). Sure there is now visible rust bumps popping through in some places, but after 36 years old it is expected. The top will soon be undergoing removal, the rust will ground and treated with some rust converter, primed, sealed, repainted, and new top installed.

I do agree that 69 was the best year. You could find many of the top Muscle cars manufactured in 69. I loved the SS model with Folding headlights, was awsome.

Back on the subject:) My friend came over the other day and is generally not motivated to do anything but smoke up and live with his parents. I was in the middle of drinking some protein and he started talking about lifting and asking me how much I bench. I told him what I workout with as I don't know my max and he was like I can do more than that. But I think he was comparing my workout weight with his max. I was kind of mad at myself for not gaining more than I had but then I remembered he works out with a blowflex. I know I can bench more than him now;)

I'm actually more a 67/8 guy, but 69 was the most popular, causing it to even drag into 1970. Its a shame it only lasted those 3 years though, the first gen was the best Camaro ever. 70-73 I can stand, but after that the 2nd gens just go to crap IMO, too damn big, and not really all that attractive to me.

My car of choice would be either a 1970 Hemi Cuda or a 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe. :D

I never liked the older vettes... I always preferred the like 79 Stingrey....those were awsome. And they came stock with 454 big blocks :)

Oh please, those engines sucked and you know it. 69 Vette would rock the house.

Any engine 74-91 GM wise is pretty much a torquer or makes no power at all. The LT1 was the first decent small block since 73, and the earlier EFI engines just plain sucked. The L98 was OK, but forget top end, the intake runners are completely too long.
