Anyone here keep a dumbbell by their desk at work?

Ever on an arm day , pump up your arms at your desk since you felt that you would like to get in a couple more sets for that day?

I was sitting here thinking about how I would have liked to fit in a few more sets today at the gym. You know that feeling you get when you say to yourself "If only I would have done a couple more, I wonder if the workout would have been better."

Well then I remembered I had a dumbbell here at my desk. So I grabbed it and just did a few right now. Im going to do one more set till it burns really good and then I will be done.

I feel it really helps me with the mouse. Sometimes I just need that extra pump to click the mouse.
Pro tip of the day. Keep your anal beads at your desk too. Just drop em, insert, and practice.

Well my practice must be paying off. One of the bodybuilders was walking around today at my gym. You can't miss the guy, the guy is huge. Like Heavy Iron on this board. Anyway so I asked him to help me with a machine. He looked at me really weird. He looked at the weight I was using and he said " That doesn't look heavy enough for you." I said in reply " I just started lifting a couple months ago. I am a beginner." He said "Really? You must be genetically gifted. You are making great gains for the short period of time you have been lifting."

First time a serious lifter has ever told me that. I feel good today :)

LOL how would he know about your gains :roflmao:. Has he been watching you? did you ask him to coffee after that? Did you notice his eyes drifting toward you man meat?

and how was he helping you with a machine? I would be really really embarrassed to walk up to another man in a gym and ask for help with a machine.:sorry:

Emberassed to learn how to become better? By asking a person who has been lifting seriously for years? Wow I guess that would be such a bad idea! He may tell you that you suck! Or that you have to work harder. Or that your form is bad!

That's why I asked him for his advice cause he knows what he is doing. I told him I have only been lifting for a couple months and am a beginner and he simply looked at me up and down and couldn't believe that I looked as good as I did for only lifting this short period of time. That's how he knew about gains. Do you really think I am the only person that has only a couple months under his belt that he has ever seen before? Especially with the time and years he has spent in the gym?

Its a machine. :coffee:

Do you go back and look at other posts before you make new ones? Cuz just a couple days ago you started a thread about how you can't make gains. Asking if alcohol abuse has fucked up your body..."I must be a hard gainer" is what you have said a few times in other posts! But today you had a a guy tell you how great your gains are for just a couple months of lifting? So which is it?

Just a tip! Maybe you should look back at your hundreds of posts before you start another one and completely contradict yourself. It looks to me like you are just making shit up! Maybe you need some attention or something? But I personally don't believe anything you say!
