So I think I'm finally learning to incorporate the whole body in the bench press. I'm getting some leg drive and my arch has improved a lot.

Still, I find it very hard to sustain a tight arch on more than a few reps on the bench. Does anyone know any tricks for keeping the arch tight during multiple reps of the movement?

I have a habit of over thinking things. I found that my recent change to 100% polyester shirts and my strong leg drive were causing my shoulders to slip back on the bench. Add copious amounts of sweat to that.

Cotton plus sweat seems to be OK. The best is a dried bench, dried back and..... I almost embarrassed say but ... hairspray. Not mine, I'm bald.

Pause at the top of each rep for a second to take a breath of air and regain stiffness. don't try and rush the reps or you loose your groove.

A lot probably depends on your setup too. The way I set up, I arch with my ass in the air, then plant it on the bench, and there's pretty much no way I can lose my arch unintentionally at that point.
