I started kickboxing 3 weeks ago. I made a thread about it and foreman told me to update when I started sparring. Well I started sparring tonight. I mostly boxed. I only got to kickbox once. We do 3 fights, 2 rounds a piece. I got matched with boxers for 2 of them. I think I did well. I learned to keep my jab in their face. I'm taller then most of the people I fight. I'm 6'. What got me was my shoulders. They tired so fast. I was using 16oz gloves. My coach notices that I am very stiff. I think it has to do with the way I lift. I lift very stiff, like a robot almost. When I fight I tense up and they can use up a lot of energy really fast. I also need to learn to breathe out my nose.
