Does L-glutamine has pimple side effects? :hmmm:
 
You shouldn't worry about Glutamine side effects, as studies have found it to have no adverse side effects, and also because Glutamine naturally occurs in your body, it has no health risks. However, like all supplements, too much is never a good idea. Taking excessive amounts of L-Glutamine has led to upset stomachs, so you should follow the recommended dosages. Most bodybuilders take between 10 and 15 grams a day or so spaced out evenly.
 
In short, Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body, comprising more than 60% of the free amino acid pool in skeletal muscle and greater than 20% of total circulating amino acids. Supplemental L-Glutamine may help reduce muscle soreness and rebuild muscle tissue.

It has anti-catabolic effects, meaning that is works to prevent muscle loss. It is best taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, in your pre-lifting and post-lifting shakes, and before bed. Effective doses range from 5-25g a day. It is not uncommon for people to take much more than that. I personally take 5g at each of the times that I mentioned, totalling 20g per day.
 
ive been taking glutamine for a few weeks now and i have noticed a differece. nothing huge ofcourse. but ive noticed that i have to work much harder n my workout to be sore the next day. at first i was like wtf....why am i bustin my ass n not feelin it the next day. i jus had to work harder. i had shoulder surgery a few months ago and now jus tryin to bounce back from it. so to me.....im willing to take anything that works. but yeah. people dont be afraid to try glutimine. i been takin it alot and ive had no bad side affects. but still. dont be taken 100 grams a day. 20 is fine.
