my current back workout is basicaly to pick up lagging areas of my back. the lifts i do are rear delt flys, upright row, shrug rolls, lat pulls, cable row, and some times i swap cable row for tbar row or axe the cable and just do tbar. also at the end of my back workout i do hanging lat raises to flair em and burn em out any tips?

sounds like you're torching your shoulders out before hitting lats.
I would suggest focusing on the lats first...
try mixing it up with some chins & pullups.
... but that's just my $.02

ah good tip one problem cant do pullup only thing i can do is hanging lat raises becouse there are these stirrup things on the pull up bar at the gym i go to. strength is not the issue left middle finger is half snapped breaks every damn time i do pullups so i have to be semi careful on what exercises i do. good tip though on the starting with lats first

thanks....sorry forgot to put that in previous post

Ouch, that sucks.... have you tried using straps, might help a bit.
Maybe some hooks?

the stirrup things like i said but all you can really get out of them is a lat raise wich is great but if you do to many or for to long you can do some real damadge they are a great finisher you use your lats to lift your whole body.

i got that, I'm talking about good old lifting straps, that way grip isn't even an issue, it's transferred mostly to your wrists

hmmm no i have never tried that or used them but that is some thing to look into sorry i misunderstood your previous question.

It's cool bro... you can pick up a set of straps for probably less than $10.
I think it's help your back alot.

cool thanks for the tip and i will pick some up at this point i am up for any thing my lats just wont build out its driving me crazy

did pullups today first fried lats and shoulders today with alot of good work on my lats they are really fried thanks for the tip.

Do the bent BB or DB rows to add mass to your lats. They won't give you the width that wide grip chins will, but the thickness of your lats will go way up with some kind of rows. I prefer barbell rows, but whatever works for ya. Do the chins first, then the rows, and then do the shoulders (assuming you are prioritizing your back over your shoulders).

yup one day a week i do prioritize smaller parts of my back like rear delt tie in rhomboids and such. second day is all about just rippin up lats and traps. i do the rear delt fly and started rows on friday when my lifting partner told me that it would help alot. did em again today i can feel it really well so i hope growth will continue. thanks again for all the tips. quick question guys t-bar or barbell wich do you think is better?

I prefer barbell rows as I get a greater ROM. Unless you have a T-bar machine, the weight on the end of the barbell doing Tbar rows will come in contact with you before you reach full contraction. It is good to mix it up every once in awhile though. Watch your back when doing bent barbell rows. It's easy to round your back when doing heavy lifts. Stretch your hams before doing them and I practice form by standing up with my back flat and then bending over while maintaining the flat back.

thanks for the tips and sorry nordic i am still trieng to stay natural. that and i have a wicked fear of needles.

i have explained before lol originaly came on this site to learn more about gear. my lifting partner is a amatuer body builder who uses. alot of the guys at my gym juice. some of my clients do as well. so i have seen to much gear. i want to know more about gear other than reading steroid profiles. so every once in a while i ask a question in the anabolic forum. i have yet to decide if its for me and every one say i would have to get over my needle fobia. does that answer your question or do i need to explain myself better? no i was not trieng to be a dick with that last question, so before you flame my ass please ask away. i am just hear to learn and offer advice when i can on a topic i am familiar with.

in retrospect probaly not the best choice for a screen name but oh well lol.

back is my best Muscle and also my fav to workout

tons of pull up with different hand grips I'll do 200 in a day in sets of 10 plus I do dumbell rows really slow maybe 4 sec each way sets of 10.

200 in a day? Over how long?

I do them in my backyard so I'll do a set throw the ball to the dogs a couple times then do some more. Maybe 120 in the morning then the others when I get off work. I like to bring my knees up so my abs get a workout too

chins using hooks followed by heavy db rows and then wide reverse grip pulldowns. works for me
