Oh, hell no. I live in a state that 89% white. My neighborhood is 99% white (there are a few very cool islanders). In my neighborhood has zero crime. Well, a couple of kids spray-painted "Broncos", a local football team, on a plastic fence once. It was clean up in couple of hours. Heck, a few months ago the next door kid (about 12 years old) ran his bike into my car (I usually park in the garage, but was going back out shortly). He left me a note under the windshield-wiper letting me know that he hit my car and to let him know if he caused any damage. All he did was get a bit of dirt on my car, so it was all good.

That's the sort of place that I live.

Sounds a lot like my neighborhood.

Not much chance of her son catching a stray bullet from a black man or her being affected by the 'evil black man'.
Banglor has one of the lowest levels of black population as well as crime rates in the U.S.
Based on location crime rates and racial demographics the truth as she sees it in front of her eyes every day is probably different than yours.

having a lot of blacks in my family changes things too. those here that are also my friends on facebook know my extended family doesn't exactly look like a glass of milk. stabbings are more common here than shootings but nothing like the drive bys where my step brother used to live. anyone reading the zimmerman thread without two pockets full of a mad on might be able to notice who was able to maintain a sense of humor etc. i'm opinionated but the emotional are the people who don't really understand it could have gone either way and they might be completely wrong. we were not there. this is about two males not anyone else besides them. it's a case of two individuals not gang crime n all the racial bs people are piling onto it.

I remember back a few years to when a church group sponsored a group of African Refugees aka. 'those people' to move to Maine.
The comments from some of the white people living in the area and around the area with low black populations was funny as to uh oh there goes the great puritan white utopia neighborhood.

the population to look out for here are the crack heads and people on bath salts. we get the occasional stabbing or some guy throwing another out the window onto his head because they were arguing over religion or 3 people murdered and lit on fire in a car.... i moved back to maine from vegas and chose to raise my kids here due to low crime rate. less chance of being kidnapped etc. but there are some sick fucking cases here just as well. some guy married his dog, a child protective worker murdered a little girl in her care by wrapping her head in 30 feet of duct tape, a woman starved her kid to death.... we just have a lot less than a lot of places.

we have whole towns here full of empty houses. i think some organization should get their shit together and fill those homes with people needing to get their kids out of high crime areas but.... there aren't the jobs in those towns to do it. the houses can go for as little as ten thousand. i would not piss n moan if a single mom had to exist on welfare in one of those houses while her kids got some safety and an education that could break the welfare dependency but the schools are pretty much shit too. if factories were forced to be built here instead of china that could all change.

Couldnt disagree more . Economy is tough here in NYC and for me personally . My neighbors arent killing each other or dealing drugs on every corner and there are no gangs anywhere even close to my area . Niggas are killing each other every minute . They are animals and as soon as you admit it the sooner you will be closer to reality
