What's up guys, this is my first post on this site. I've been lifting for maybe 5 years. 5"9 185 10% bf roughly. I lift about four times a week, and my upper body is getting really Unproportionate to my legs, before you all jump on me, 4-5 months ago during a football game I turned and planted real fast on my knee and it gave out. wouldent hold weight at all. probably worst pain of my life. turns out I had complete tears of Mcl, meniscus, and Acl with a broken tibia and fractured femur. fuck me right. I had surgery right at 3 months ago and have been lifting again for the past 2-3 months and have gained a lot of the weight I lost back. but my surgeon said it would be another 4 months before I can do squats with any weight at all because of how bad it was. any advice on what I can do? sorry for the lengthiness lol. thanks.

You can try peptides to help speed recovery. GH increasing peps. Great for pain and joints. MGF maybe. Not completely sold on MGF but hey it couldn't hurt. Peptides will definitely help you. I ran ghrp2, Ipamorelin, and cjc1295 no DAC for about 2 months and felt amazing. Not even a pop in my elbow. Recovery was the main thing I noticed. I'm sore for days now. When I could work out 7 days a week on peps. I would run peptides while doing the rehab. You don't need to do squats to get huge just look at Dexter Jackson but he is obviously a genetic freak.

I have had a pretty bad break in my lower leg tib fib spiral fracture pins plates screws anyway. When I finally got out of the cast the doc told me that bearing weight on it would speed up the healing process. So slowly I started walking on it then very light exercises and rehab. 6 months later I was back to squatting and dead lifting. First and foremost follow the doctors orders. Im just saying the general consensus on bone fractures is they heal quicker as soon as you can bear weight on them.

Also you would be surprised how much you can accomplish with very little weight. You don't have to squat 6 plates to make them grow. I mean if your already walking around and lifting for your upper body then you are already supporting weight. Start with just a 25 on each side do 30 reps for 4 sets. when that easy do a 45 on each side. Still only 135 but I bet if you can do 30 reps for 4 sets your legs will look amazing. Same for leg extensions. Put just 60 pounds on there do 15 regular reps hold at the top for 2 seconds each rep, then do 15 half reps middle to top hold for 2, then 15 more toes out full reps, hold for 2, then 15 toes out half reps hold for 2. Then toes in same deal. After all that if you got any left pump out another 20. That's 1 set. rest and repeat 2 more times
That will have you screaming way harder than the full stack for 10 reps. Unless your a power lifter forget the big weights. peak contraction and time under tension is what you need.
The healing peptides work great too. I've done the beta 4 and the BPC 157 and it healed a minor bicep tear in 2 weeks.

A little over two months ago I completely broke my right femur in half in a car accident. The impact messed up some stuff in my knee and hip as well. My surgeon told me it would be 6 months before I walked normal and my therapists told me to take it easy and limited my activities severely. My knee initially only had about 60 degrees of flexion. I went to the gym without informing my therapist or doctor (that being said, I am not necessarily advising you to do that) and did extremely light leg extensions (started at 5lbs). I began to have an average increase in flexion of about 15 degrees a week. I am now doing 185lb smith machine squats for reps. As long as you are EXTREMELY CAREFUL you may can venture outside of your doctor's orders.
