Lesnar vs Overeem fight video

Thanks for Posting. Never got a chance to see the fight. Sure glad I didn't pay 50.00 to watch. Would've been a waste. :coffee:

poor guy...he was not a fighter...but a world of potential...imagine him with more exp and no illness...he just lacked seasoning

Yeah, most definitely. He got a late start in the MMA game. Between that and his on and off battle with his intestinal disease, just wasn't his time.

there were other good fights. I actually thought the lesnar fight was the worst in the event.

definitley. Diaz vs Cerrone was a great fight. I cant stand Diaz but he fuckin picked Cerrone apart with his boxing

I heard the Diaz fight fight was an absolute boxing clinic. I hate both Diaz boys. I think they're both faggots.

Not many can recover from those body shots, to his credit, not many of the other shots got through, i am glad he has retired, this would kill him otherwise, liked Brock…...

Agreed. If he went straight from college wrestling to mma the guy might have been one of the greatest ever. But really, I think he made the right choice. The money in WWF was much greater.

your pics?

a 150 pound man couldnt even tae a single jab from a decent sized man

its was pathetic watching that diaz dude do his tough guy act before the fight

lmao at 150 pound "man"

And what do you consider a decent sized man? the average weight of a male in the US is 191lbs. So let's take Champ Bailey as the average man. The All Pro Cornerback from the Denver Broncos. He's 6' 192 lbs. and he is an elite athlete which the average 'decent sized' man isn't. I'd bet my money on those 2 155lb guys over champ in the cage, or a street fight every day of the week and twice on Sunday. They could easily take a jab from a 'decent sized' guy and deliver a knock out blow of their own. I know for a fact they train with guys well over 200lbs regularly.

I'm not discounting size. in two fighters with no training i'd pick the bigger guy each time, but when you add knowledge of how to fight into the mix it changes the entire game, and size matters much and much less. Look at Brock Lesnar's career in MMA as a perfect example of this. His size, which is well above 'decent sized' was only going to get him so far. He lost to significantly smaller men with better skill when he fought Cain Velasques and Frank Mir in their first fight.

brock is an inexperienced grappler...he went from never fighting to the ufc

sure small guys can have skills....but a big guy with skills will beat a smaller guy with equal skills everytime

I'm doing my best to not completely go off here. because your points are so completely without merit, or relevance.

Brock is Division 1 heavyweight wrestling champion. He is hardly an inexperienced grappler. having trained and fought in MMA I can tell you if you are going to have one skill and then diversify in MMA you want that skill to be grappling.

You will never ever find two individuals with equal skills, it's the nature of humanity. But if you were to find these two individuals of equal skill I would bet on the stronger individual regardless of size.

Your original statement that 155lb guys can't take a jab from a decent sized man is ludicrous and really shows an ignorance of fighting. Too often guys have gone into fights thinking that because they are bigger they are going to win, and they turn out to get their asses kicked because they overestimated the advantage size provides.

Looks to me like Overeem was on his "TRT" and Lesner was not. You think they use the drug testing to fix the fights? Maybe they tell one fighter he's going to be tested and the other is told he's going to get a pass. Lesner looked shy and deflated, no drive, no aggression.

That very well could be the case up to a point. Lesnar was in the states the entire training leading up to the fight and never missed a drug test in the lead up to the fight. Overeem on the other hand did miss drug tests and spent a portion of his time out of the states. I don't know if it was to "fix" the fight, but I'd bet money Overeem is not 'clean' as a fighter. Brock's Steroid usage is well known from his time in the WWE, but since then he has been in the NFL and the State athletic commissions drug testing programs his fought in without a shade of gray on him. Not that this proves innocence, but it does provide some credibility. it's different with Overeem

yeah...weight difference doesnt matter...thats why they have weight classes in combat sports:wacko:

you know the man who originated the bigger they are the harder they fall bullshit was a heavyweight boxer who got knocked out by a man 60 pounds heavier after saying that

That 150 pound guy would fuck you up. You wouldnt stand a chance.

lol at a man that size even being able to take me off my feet

in boxing ...ya know where skills/rules matter...i would get worked by a talented fighter

still waiting on those pics loudmouth:hmmm:

Well said. I too didn't want get into this but kos your posts show you're completely ignorant about mma. A world class fighter at 155 will destroy a fit 220 pound man if he's not trained in mma.

I bet you Diaz would knock you the fuck out. He would get 10 well placed punches in before you even got your hands up.

mmas best striker was chuck liddell...enuff said...i would stand in a boxing ring with any mma guy...i have trained both mma and boxing....mma striking training is a fuking mess

the way to go would be to train nothing but boxing then go mma...the dude would dominate....and no i dont mean the 45 year old boxers who have done the same
