I've been training using Max OT (maximum overload training) for a few years now and have seen great progress. But one thing I have learned is that after a while you start to lose form. This happens when you cheat the weight to get it up. Especially if you have no training partner to help you get over the hump.
What I found was I was hitting a barrier and not lifting heavier weights. So what I did was lighten the weight by 10 lbs or more and made sure I got went deeper on my squats and presses. It feels like I just started lifting again. I'm sore all over!
It's working too.
