I have been doing cardio (40 min 3-4xs a week) on the elliptical machine. I sometimes vary 20 on it and another 25 on the bike at a fast pace to avoid burning out. Unfortunately I have lost total motivation. I was previously on an EC stack(2xs a day). I saw nothing coming from it. I have posted my diet below, which I followed consistently for almost 10 weeks and saw NO progress. I know I must have a lot of twitches to improve, but I sure did try I just have lost the ump!... I am open ears (eyes) to all comments for help. Thank you....

First off whats are your stats? Male? Female? weight..etc.. and what is the total calorie amount for this? It can't be much.

in fact i counted that up in my head and that can't be anymore that 850 to 900, for your weight, male or female, that is dangerous. You need to up calorie intake for sure and you prolly haven't lost motivation, you prolly have to energy and you are sacrificing your bodys muscle this way.

That aint enough food.... ur body is so starved, it just holds on to whatever u give it as it "remembers" ur gonna drill it with cardio...Its kinda craving fuel!Ur metabolism is probably way down and needs a pick me up!!

Have you tried eating a minimum of 5 meals daily, 300-400 cals per meal, with a 40-40-20 ratio(protein, carbs, fat)? You seem to have a clean diet, but its just too minimal IMO ....Do any strenght training?

lol, I know, for some reason, it had posted it twice!! Maybe I was having a blonde attack!

Then even more so if you are lifting, EAT!!!!!! Otherwise ur poor body juats looks for aminos anywhere it can find them and since your food intake aint providing them, it finds em in Ur hard earned muscle!!!!

if you were to have an idea of a good breakfast menu or dinner menu, I can work around that. It has really become a problem for me. I am not sure what I am going through with food, but it is kinda scary.I really appreciate all your info.

B fast would def be a priority as ur body has been starved for like 8 hours by the Am...It seems it only gets coffee and a little milk...It must be mad at you!!!It really depends when u train too. If you lift 1st thing in the am, u wanna avoid the 8 egg white omelet with the oats and go for some quickly absorbed protein(whey maybe?) and carbs(fruit)to fuel ur w/o...Same thing, if you train around dinner time, keep you "solid" meal for afterwards...My diet looks something like this:

7am: protein shake + banana+3 grams creatine(when bulking)
8am: lift
9:15(or within 1/2 hour of lifting): 6 egg whites(I throw in a yolk every second day) omelet w/ veggies(brocoli, mushrooms, onions), 2 oz fat free grated cheese + 1/2 cup oats+3 grams creatine
noon:1 can tuna on lettuce w/red peppers, olives, tomatoes, 2 oz fat free grated cheese and 2-3 tb spoons olive oil/vinegar dressing
3pm: protein shake
6pm: large broiled chicken breast, 2 cups brocoli(or a baked potato smothered in ff cottage cheese instead of sour cream and butter), 1 cup brown rice(if no potato), 1 slice 14 grain bread
9pm:protein shake, 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese and almonds

It sounds like you are forming slight anorexia, your still eating but not eating very much. I used to be the same way. I lost a bunch of weight, then i was afraid i was gunna get fat again so i barely ate anything but was never trying to be anorexic. Its a good thing you came here when you did its best to get some help and advice quickly as possible.

Thank you..
the funny thing is that my body has held on to fat for dear life!
I have actually gained weight eating like this!
Thank you for all your wonderful advise!

One last question...
What is all the bad stuff I hear about milk and cottage cheese.. dairy, what amount is bad? or is it even that bad?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Dairies with low fat content actually contribute to weight loss when consumed amongst other healthy foods!:thumb: I mean, if ya eat a tub of ice cream every night or chomp on 5 cups of cheddar cheese a day you may find the opposite, but unless u are bodybuilding and in a cutting phase (and even then, some bb still eat ff dairy products, depends on ur system) dairy is a go!

The bad stuff you hear is prolly the fat content of full cream dairy products, the 2nd thing is the sugar content (lactose). The fat, being mostly saturated, speaks for itself. The lactose is seen by hardcore dieters as calories that add little nutritional value, though I'm not exactly sure how true this is. Dairy products contain many vitamins and is an added source of protein.

I'm not suprised at all. Your body is holding on to every calorie it can because you are in starvation mode. Your metabolism has lurched to a crawl and your body is trying to compensate for the lack of calories.
