Looking for a something for the wife low sexdrive

Well figured I would the lady's. I am looking for something for my wife she has a low sex drive. She also gets extremely bad pms. She workout 3 x week and is HWP.

Curious on her age... certainly that would play into it.

If she's approaching her 30s or 50s there are some hormonal changes to be expected - getting blood work would help for sure. If she's on the pill (or recently come on/come off) that can play havoc with libido too.

It also makes sense to look at her diet/sleep schedule too - not enough fats = hormonal issues almost certainly.

As for as the chemistry department goes, you could look into PT-141 (an injectible peptide) or poppers (amyl nitrate, inhaled). Not sure if any of those would be worth investigating.
 
She is 36. Complains about be tired all the time. Diet is not the best she doesn't eat enough protein IMO . Never thou about blood test. I will have to look at pills she sees me inject and can't handle it.

the people here are so perverted i assumed they meant get a girlfriend for your wife. i think seeing a dr could help. a number of easy to remedy things could be to blame like hypothyroidism or vitamin deficiency. 36 seems very young for it to be anything related to change of life.

Yes she has went to her gyno about it but I dont know if they did blood or not " His answer was prosaic for when the pms is bad so she takes it for about a week a month. I am going to get her to see our family doc he will run blood but sadly I dont think they will seen anything. He has me on a TRT cream that suxs so i choose to pay and pin. Back to her thou it seems like it has went downhill the this past year. It is not from lacking of trying on both parts. I just prefer that she not fake going thru the motions. Sure I am going to catch hell on that one from some of these guys. Current she is only taking fish oil and vit C.. Oh and she does have a bit of a self image problem.. We have 2 kids which or under 10 and she is not as tight in the butt and belly as she wants so she is constantly saying she is fat. She is 5ft 10 and weight 150 IMO not fat at all
 
Prosac wont do nothing one week out of the month, it takes about 2 to 4 weeks for it to even kick in. Is she suffering from depression?

a lot of times what starts out as the woman just having sex to please the man ends up with her really enjoying herself. sex can improve mood... she doesn't always need to be all horny prior to foreplay for it to be pleasurable for her. i can tell you as a woman that sometimes all it takes to rebuild interest in sex is to begin participating again.

No depression but 2 weeks out for that week it is closes I can describe like steroid rage. She takes them when she feels that feeling.

Yea I have noticed that but lately she will be come to be wanting then like a light switch it turns off. This is not normal for her we normal 3 times a week now maybe 1 time per week

it makes me mad when some women claim there is no such thing as pms. i have sat down and cried because of it telling my husband it's like someone put something in your drink that makes you angry for no reason at all. and i only had normal pms. one day a month i'd be just not myself. there is a disorder where pms is extreme. not sure anyone has talked to you about it.

also... you might want to talk to her about fantasies... what you could do to make it better for her anything hot she might like to try.
 
We did have a bit of a talk lady night. About no blood work has been done by her gyno. Yep that is the way she describes it also the pms she can't even stop it when it's even the kids. Just words are all that happens gets angry that time of the month then crys after cause she got angry.
Which she did say last night she feels I am always taking the lead and she wants to but never gets the chance. Also she feels out of shape and not attractive which is not the case. She told me it's her belly pooch and fat ass she don't like her words not mine. She do have a small belly I mean my hand can hold it that small. I am starting to wonder if she is retaking a little water. We may run thru some water pills just to give it a shot. I think of she can be happy with her body then most of this will straighten out.

Find a doctor who specializes in women's hormones and thyroid and HRT...and get away from GP's....they will have her hooked on benzos in no time..

She has hormonal imbalances....its nothing new...her test is low...her estrogen is high....her progesterone is low...and her thyroid is hypo...this is all educated guess...but I'm prob close...

Don't self medicate either...y'all will just screw her up more...it could be as simple as a little cream and some armour thyroid and she is hopping on ol' big like its your wedding night...

Agree with this. If she regularly has aggressive PMS, that is why most women start out on The Pill to help regulate the swings in estrogen levels and the size of the resulting sides. If you guys need a comparison, consider if you go clomid for PCT. I'd start by getting labs done - that can even be done on your own dime - just get a complete female panel done. The point being to get a better idea of what her natural levels are. And thx, s2h, for mentioning progetsterone - the forgotten hormone. Particularly for women it is the "balancer" w/ estrogen and plays a significant part in hormone balance and quality of life as women get older as well.

There are some OTC things to help deal w/ the PMS - e.g. Evening Primrose Oil, DIM and even Estroven. These are easy things to try on that front. And also easy to research - google away!

On the other side, like s2h said, don't self-medicate w/ steroids. That shit turns into a whole other discussion if she doesn't intend to use them for hypertrophy. When it comes to steroids & women, whatever you think your purpose is, ain't nuttin for free and you NEED to know what you're getting into. Very frequently it is completely the wrong approach to the goals desired and the rest of the lifestyle (weight training, diet, etc.) isn't there to support and the sides are not what was expected.)

A starting point for sex drive is w/ your endo / ob-gyn, again, to understand what the hormone situation is first. Both in the sex hormones & the thyroid. If she honestly wants some results in terms of getting in shape, that's a commitment to the diet & training to get there (and frequently also just setting the goal and working on it vs lamenting not being there immediately). But thyroid can be a contributor, so that should be a reasonably easy item to identify. Note that many doctors are not particularly well-versed in thyroid issues in terms of people being hypo or maybe on the edge of "normal range" but the doctor still won't consider it an issue and treat it. That said, I'd also not be encouraging going on thyroid medication for the rest of her life if it isn't an issue. Diet can also contribute to that.

Lastly, revisiting diet is also a relatively easy thing. I can tell you as a competitor that to get results you need to look at your diet - obviously if she's not get results from whatever she's doing now, its silly to expect results from continuing to do what she's doing. Frequently a simple review of the typical day's meal plan can identify some easy things to tweak, such as increased protein. For ex, my mom was blown away by the amount of energy she has in the morning if she adds an egg to her breakfast. She's traditionally a toast & coffee person. Another thing she's amazed at is how she doesn't cramp up much if she has a protein drink in her day. My mom is over 70, has a replaced hip, but still gets out and walks a couple miles / day, does pilates several times / week along w/ a weight training class. She & my dad spend summers up on the lake in N. Minnesota and are big "project" people - that means they frequently do stuff like move rocks and pull down trees on the property. That's an argument for some easy changes and age is no excuse to not get some simple things in order to improve the quality of your life.

And for God's sake don't let anyone prescribe anti-depression meds. She'll get fatter so fast it will blow her mind. Its not addressing the source but still drugging up someone in the prime of her life. Get a female panel done first just so you know where you're at, talk about exactly the issues you mentioned in your post, and if there's anything to address w/ the doc, do it. Hormone levels aren't like popping an aspirin. It might take a little bit of work w/ any medication to find the appropriate balance for her. And while that is going on, revisit the diet & lifestyle for some optimizing tweaks that get her to a better place in her life as well. At her height she is absolutely not fat, but probably more like skinnyfat. Up the protein intake, clean out the shitty sugar and processed food. Hopefully she's getting enough calories in general, and if so just switch up the macro ratios so she is getting more protein & better quality of carbs & fats. An easy way to start is put protein in at least the 3 major meals in some form, get a reasonable amount of good quality fats, keep the cheat food to one day , better, one meal /week as the random cheats will kill progress faster than anything.
