I have three, but none of them let me pick up the misic where it stopped. I am looking to get a new one, but I don't like having to cycle thru 200 songs to get back to where I ended, and I don't want to keep listening to the same 15 while in the gym. Anyone have a player that keeps your bookmark when you shut it off?

I use a Nex II player--CF memory makes it nice and convenient. It's easy to scroll, so I've never cared that I have 1,000 songs on there.

I like the ipod shuffle; putting it on regular mode will save your location.

for the gym I use a Sony NW-S23 Network Walkman, it's water resistant has a great display, holds 8-9 CD's worth of music and the battery lasts for about 70 hours. if you break it no big deal because it only costs $129

I love my pink mini-ipod :)

LAM, what is the MB on the Sony? I a Rio Chiba and it has issues with the memory card expansion. I guess this is typical of this Player.

I used to love my ipod until the battery stopped bloody working after just over a year

Yeh, that'd suck. I got Jenny the 3yr warranty on hers as I figure theres bound to be things that go wrong. Besides the fact that it stopped working for a day, its been running like a champ for around 6 months now.

:finger: Stay away from sony, they need to respect privacy/ownership, and skip the DRM.

regardless, Sony is the world leader in miniaturization technologies for consumer products...
