Is there anyway to keep my muscle the way it is right now, and lose a lot of body fat percentage? Am I just supposed to diet? I hear from my cousin that losing any weight at all is losing muscle.

Your cousin is wrong. It is possible to lose more fat than muscle if you do it properly by managing your diet and exercising.

Note that managing your diet isnt the same thing as dieting. Drastic cuts in your daily calorie intake WILL make you lose muscle and ultimately put more fat on, and just limiting yourself to a few foods (e.g. the "Potato and Orange Juice" diet) is stupid.

Go to the nutrition section here and learn what foods to eat in a balanced diet as well as general information about fat loss and healthy nutrition. Start counting your calories aswell. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal is a good site to log them.

Read around the training section and learn how to put together a program to reach your goals.

Though you will lose SOME muscle, the majority of your loss will be fat if you do it right.

Your cousin is mis-informed.

Yes if you diet in a silly way, you will lose muscle. This is the basis of most 'women's' diets when they are only concerned about numbers on a weight scale, rather than what the composition of their body is.

Muscle is heavier than fat, it takes up less space than fat, and it requires more energy (kcals) every day, so losing muscle is NEVER a good idea.

Tracking your progress with bodyfat, a tape measure, how you look and how your clothing fits is a far better way than just using scales.

It is a combination of diet, cardio and weight training that is the most effective way to burn fat while keeping muscle.

I would recommend you do some more research and reading, and then come back with questions.

So, I read somewhere that eating every three hours is good for you, but I've never done that, and whenever I start to eat, it seems I overdo it. Another thing, ever since Thanksgiving, I have been able to eat and eat and eat and not get full, is something wrong with me?

My main question is, am I supposed to eat every three hours of my day if I have no cardio and I only weightlift? I know right now that I eat way too much to lose weight. When I eat healthier foods, I never seem to be full and end up going back for more. In doing this, I feel like I might as well be eating less food, but bad food.
