This isn't good.
Starving yourself won't make you lose weight. Or, at least, not in a healthy way.
Consider that there are two ways that you can lower your body fat
percentage (pay attention to this word).
The first is too decrease the amount of fat in your body. The other is too increase the amount of muscle in your body.
So, you weight 185? This means that you have around 20 pounds of fat in your body. Let's say that you lose 5 pounds of fat. What does that do to your body fat percentage?
Let's go through the scenario of your losing 5 pounds of fat.
If you lose the fat, but keep the muscle, you're BF% drops to 8 percent or so. For a loss of
3%.
But, if you're starving yourself, you're going to lose muscle with that fat. So you lose 2.5 pounds of fat, and you lose 2.5 pounds of muscle. What happens to your body BF% then? You'll only lose about
1%.
Things get even better when you've lost some fat and start to put on muscle. You're BF% will continue to drop
even if you don't lose any fat!
You really need to change your eating habits.
