Study: Low-carb diet best for weight, cholesterol - Yahoo! News
The low-carb diet set limits for carbohydrates, but none for calories or fat. It urged dieters to choose vegetarian sources of fat and protein.

This is still misleading, IMO. I wish they had stated/clarified for the novice dieter why there were no caloric limits.

"It suggests that because women have had more experience dieting or losing weight, they're more capable of implementing a more complicated diet," said Dietz, who heads CDC's nutrition unit.

Not at my house. There are still a few cans of Slim Fast in the old fridge.:D

I agree. I lost on Atkins, and there was no "apparent" calorie restriction. Except there was: on more satisfying food, I underate.

It was amazing. The weight FELL off. First time in my life I ever felt GOOD.
