Quick qustion about my diet. I have been low carb for 3 weeks now, in the 30 or less a day no bread or pasta. I am doing HIIT and running and lifting and I have only lost one pound. Is it takeing longer because I didn't do the 0 carb 2 weeks to start?

Low carb is terrible. No macronutrient should ever be completely eliminated from one's diet. Cycle your carbs or cut them down a bit, but don't do that low carb bullshit. Atkin's type diets are for fat house wives who don't have any will power with a proper lifestyle change, not an athlete who needs the glycogen to bust ass in the gym and on the treadmill. As Iain said, refeed then try carb cycling or learn how to properly manage your carbs (the correct type, amount, timing).

you should have dropped a fair amount of water (if nothing else) in 3 weeks.

maybe you are not eating low carbs but you think you are. like the people that tell me they are eating low carbs and they are eating an apple and drinking milk.

I 've been a predominantly low carber for yrs aand train in regular times anything up to 12hrs a day...6-7 days a week for yrs.

I think to doo that safely though if you're training and max results and performance aand lognevity of being able to safely maintain that as an entire lifestyle along with your exercise.. try to trade the idea of 'no carbs' to high simple whole natural sources might serve you muuch better..( loading to maybe 2-2.5 gms complex carb intake / kg of bw every 4 days ish.. probably up to 4 for an adult male) that way you don't miss out on the glyco load and end up comprimising your performance and results.

P-Funk is right. 30 gms is really high for me if we're talking a daily complex intake. 10 -12 - 18 - less than 10 sounds closer but then if your also on a lean it gets reeeally tricky to manage what fruit or fluid or ph or veg or whatever not to mention nitrogen toxicity from too much protein stagnating and not being able to eliminate the excess after the break down before too much cummulates in your guts.. I use red wine ( to break down the protein) and laxatives and maybe a black coffee with equal first thing (ish ) am and 3-4pm ish and watermelon at night to help me out with that. I also use lemon juice to suck up all the excess sugars.. 50 and 100ml shots !.. sometimes in soda water. ...feel sooo good after one of those . Sometimes something reallly sweet like a condensed fruit bar for 1.5 gms of complex carbs will help do it too. It's a f*ck of alot better than some plans out there anyway.

Dont forget to load and do lots of fluids or you'll get yourself into trouble with your kidney / liver heart and digestion.
I'd like to see you pull it off and come back and report how well you went with it and tell us all the cool things that happened to your body and performance because of it, but it 's tricky to really do properly long term so good luck with which ever way you go.

( p.s. ii only doo that because I have hepatitis c and if i eat too many complex carbs or refined sugar it'll kill me later( if not sooner since I won't take their drugs for it ). I since believe I've found it an awwesome way to run a system regardless... particularly if you want to train and be well as possible as much of the time as you can.
oh and really no - very low aany carb at all = shot nerves and bad tissue integrity.

Maybe you're not loosing any more weight because you're in starvation mode from the glyco defict. Soo godammed important.

Blooming Lotus.
