I have just started back at the gym again after several months off thanks to tendonitis in my hip due to running related over-training.

My injury was caused in part by poor lower body strenght which made my running unstable and caused some nasty tendon problems.

Can anyone reccomend me a lower body workkut forusing on the glutes, hamstrings, hip area, quads and core that I can do twice a week.

Thanks

Were you doing freeweight barbell squats or deadlifts before your injury?

Are you still running? If so, I'd recommend something low in volume but high in intensity.

I'd also recommend some unilateral stuff like step-ups, split squats, and single leg RDLs.
