Lower Quads

Does anyone know a sure fire exercise(s) for them?

Is it true that when you do leg extensions if you only go from the bottom to about half way then back down it works the lower quads?
 
I order to target the lower quads, here's a few tricks...

-do hack squats with your feet not too high on the platform
-do leg presses like this...bring the weight all the way down, then only half way back up...then bring it back down, then all the way back up
-to target the teardrop...vastus medialis...do squats, leg presses, and hacks with your toes turned out and feet somewhat wide
-also for the teardrop...accentuate the TOP half of the lift, not the bottom half...also, turn your toes out in the contracted position
-you can also try traditional SISSY SQUATS
