I'm a 15 year old guy (i'll be 16 soon) I'm 5'8 and weigh 120lbs. I take a multivitam twice a day (cause i heard zinc will speed up a guys metabolism) and a cAMP accelerator daily. Everey mrning before breakfast i jog at 6mph for 10 mins, then 5 mph for 15 mins then 6mph again for 5 minutes (i alos make sure i get 15,000 steps daily on my pedometer). At night, Four times a week, i weight train and do 320 situpd (4 different kinds at 80 reps) in total this lasts about an hour. The other 3 nights of the week i do 480 situps (6 different kinds at 80 reps each) and about 20 minutes of Winsor Pilates (in total it lasts me 30-40 minutes). I also eat about 1500-1750 calories a day.
So my question is if it would be alright to eat basically anything i wanted (about 2250-2500 calories) one day a week (while still exercising on that day) and not worry about gaining any weight?

WTF? Maintaining 120?

Im in shock I cant think of anything to say :spaz:

IMO you need to put on some quality mass(ie. muscle).

Well I'm not trying to put on any mass, all I want to do is get some lean muscle to increase my metabolism and tone up my stomach.

The question I have is. Why do you want to speed up your metabolism? At 5'8 120 the last thing you have to worry about is whatever little stomach you have. Start eating.

your 15, your metab is already on high gear

Well my problem is that I'm afraid to start eating more than what i'm already eating, I can handle gaining weight as long as I know its lean muscle but i don't want to gain any more fat on my body, thats why i posted my question.

Any more fat??? How much fat can one have on their body when they are 120lbs? Unless you are a midget. Are you a midget?

:haha:

lol, he said he was 5'8 but 120 is small for a 5'8er

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Oh I missed that. (damn, I was hoping for a midget) Anyway yeah.....at 5'8 you are much better off at 220 than 120...keep eating.

This whole thread isn't making any sense. What are you trying to achieve, Lewie...? Do you want more muscle and maintain a low b/f count..? Eat more (good stuff... not anything you want) and hit the weights! Give some DETAILS..! :)

I did, I told what my exercise routine (I lift weight four times a week for about an hour each night) was, how many calories i eat in a day (5 servings of fruit, 5 grains, 4 dairy and I put in protein with everything), my weight and height etc.
All I wanted to know is if it would be alright for one day of the week to basically eat anything i wanted like chips, chocolate, fries etc. (while staying under 2500 calories) without gaining any weight.

 Only way to know for sure is to try it out and see if it effects you. I highly doubt it would though, 2500 calories of junk food ain't much at all.

ok thanks i'll try it out, besides if i gain anything I guess i can just lose it again.

If you gain anything be happy and keep on gaining. Don't stop there....put n size....GROW GROW GROW!!

im 17 and im 5'9 so same height as you and im 192 pounds!! lol 120 is not healthy, you want to get up to atleast 150! and I dont understand why you would want to speed up your metabolism? unless you want to look anerexic or something.....

Yeh...I really dont get this...I'm 15...5'9...170 somethin lbs...and I wanna gain some weight to look good... 120 lbs isnt healthy for ur height I dont think...

Well about 5 months ago i was hospitlized for a eating disorder, although I'm doing alot better now theres still that part of me that needs to be thin, thats why I need to stay at 120 for, if i do gain anything I'm afraid I could relapse.

Bingo.....information that would have been more helpful at the beging of the thread. You need to take the calories you are eating daily and slowly (maybe 200calories added per day everyweek) get more food in you to get your metbolism back to a healthy functioning level. Don't just take one day and eat a whole bunch of shit as this will (a) make you incredibly bloated, (b) could lead to a long binge since you have deprived yourself for a long time or (c) because of "a" and "b" make you turn to your old habits again. Hang in there bro. Read the stickies and try and post a new diet that will be easy for you to follow and let everyoen help you out. You may want to start a journal for further help and motivation.

k, i'll try adding calories slower, i know i have to start because with the amount of calories i eat and then with all the exercise i do i'm gonna continue to lose weight and i don't want to go back into the hospital, It's also impossible for me to eat anything for a day, last night it was my mom's birthday and I thought i could handle a really small piece of cake, but after it was on my plate all the old voices in my head start coming back and i just couldn't do it.

Lewie, listen to P-funk, he's a very smart guy :)
How did they treat you when you were hospitalized? Did you go through any kind of therapy?
I think you should start a journal in the online journal section :)
