Im still on cutting and losing fat/weight. But its not happening as fast as it should. Anyways thats besides the point, How do you guys reduce the size of your waist?...im 32 and want to be 30....i havent seen my waist getting smaller one bit since i started cutting like a month ago.
What should i do?.....

Also, i see those fat lose supplement advertisments all over the tv occasionally. Do they actually work?...what is best?

The only way to make your waist smaller is to diet and lose fat, which you are doing. Where/how much you lose the fat from is genetic. Your waist has to get down eventually. Are you taking measurements?

I measure my waist once in awhile and I measure my weight...it just never goes below 178.5 and i try so hard....my diet isnt good but its an ok one, i do cardio about 20 minutes about 4 days a week and i follow my workout daily.

Then make it good, problem solved!

well its complicated.
Everything i have to eat has atleast somewhat calories, i eat vegetables lots and i try not to eat a lot. my only problem is eating at work :'(. I wish i had like a strict personal trainer that slaps me really hard for eating anything lol.

I'll try and make it better...cause i'll have to kill myself if i dont get lean enough before summer and those abs hehe.

thanks for replying guys.

post your diet or send it to me or someone else to have a look at

Building big shoulders and back may give the illusion of a smaller waist. But yeah, diet is the key to actually making it smaller :P.

I eat a lot of fruit, that seems to help. I suppose its because there are calories there but very little fat. Dunno if you diet buffs have any info on fruit?

fruit is sugar

Not all sugar is created equal. Fructose is very low GI, and although a lot of fruits contain certain perecentages of other sugars, most fruits remain low to moderate GI. Making juice out of it does raise the GI levels though. I think a couple servings of fruit each day is great, except maybe if you are trying to reach contest body fat levels. This shouldn't be necessary just to see ab definition.

Also, beyond diet, some of waist size has to do with genetics. Due to my bone structure, my waist would probably be no smaller than 33 inches even if I was at contest body fat levels. I've been as low as 8% or so before, and I still had a 34 inch waist.

Your right cowpimp i guess i should have added I dont agree with the suggestion to "eat a lot of fruit"

Bump to that, and some fruits are better than others. Apples are good because they are high in fiber, oranges are not as good.

Bump to the waist as well, I would be surprised if I could get 32", I always stall out at 33".

Obviously just eating a shedload of fruit will do absolutely nothing, i just seem to get the same amount of energy eating a certain quantity of fruit as i do from other foods with more fat in them. Which is a pretty good deal if you ask me!

Plus fruit is taaaasty.
