Hi

I eat very little meat, maybe once a week and it would be like a peice of grilled chicken, once a week being on a good week. What foods are good substitutes for protien. Thanks

If you eat chicken you're obviously not a vegetarian...why eat so little meat?

You can use Whey protein shakes, soy protein, cottage cheese, beans/lentils/nuts....though meat is ideal in most cases.

I persume she doesn't eat red meats

But she eats poultry.

Do you eat fish ??

I never claimed ot be a vegitarian. I honestly don't like the taste. The only meats I would eat were processed like hamburg which is less than health. Other meats like steak and fish don't taste good to me and I can't eat with out getting sick.

So I guess back to the original question, how can I get around this and still be eating well?

I know you didn't claim to be one ;)

Extra lean ground beef, particularly ground sirloin is okay for you....it's not "unhealthy"....make it yourself of course, don't buy pre-cooked or pre-formed burgers.

Ground turkey possibly :)

Don't forget eggs -- especially whites, and you might give Quorn a try. (I finally found it at a Fresh Fields in my area a couple of months ago, and I really like it.)

is it that new fungus?
