i use to grow my own. the equipment investment really isn't very much. you can order high quality seeds (any strain imaginable) from overseas (mail order) just like gear. an average sized closet in your house is enough room to grow more weed than you can smoke personally. just like gear, the chance of getting caught is minimal if you don't tell anybody, don't be stupid and don't be greedy and try to profit from it. there are online communities (just like this one) where you can post questions, ask for advice and learn everything you need to know. i learned everything i needed to know here:

Yeah I'm a member at grasscity & rollitup but growing it's easier said than done.Plus I thought a set up to grow was pretty expensive. I looked at some seeds and for like 40 bucks you get 10 seeds. God knows I'd fuck that up and would waste 40 bucks...I wish I could just buy clones from a dispensary like some of the LUCKY FOLK do here...Well shit,what to do,what to do...maybe I'll find a weed fairy somewhere that will take care of my problems. She's harder to find than the damn gear fairy was. IF anyone see's her tell her I'm looking 4 her!

actually, growing it is pretty easy. it's a fucking weed, lol. obviously, with experience, you get your technique down and have better results, but that's the case with anything.

i would always start with 20 seeds. usually 16 to 18 of them would germinate and sprout. out of those, only about 1/2 would be female. i would destroy the males at the 1st sign, leaving me with 8 or 9 females. i wouldn't let them vegitate long enough to get very big, so i could grow all of them in my closet. i would end up with about an ounce to 1.5oz. of nugs per plant. that's 12 to 14 ozs every 90 days. that was plenty for me and usually gave some away too.

Come on up to B.C. They grow the best pot in the world there. Medicinal weed in the Canada or States is shit with low THC.
