I hate some of the new modern training ideas. They are so dangerous and lame. The rolling rubber ball is so annoying. That peice of garbage belongs on a nice sandy beach. All these so called personal trainers need to go. Half of them are about 17 years old and have no experiance. Walking dumbell lunges accross the gym. These knuckleheads need to take that nonscense outside or behind the gym. I know Coleman does lunges but you dont see him waltzing around the inside of the gym. I see all these personal trainers having these house wives rolling around on a rubber ball and waltzing around the gym with a pair of little dinky dumbells. I also get a kick out of the people, who do their aerobic activity before they lift wieghts.? Then I see these Roided up morons yapping on their cell phones while walking on the treadmill or during the middle of a workout.? .... I think its time to put the toys away, load up a bar with some steel. shut your pie hole, and focus on building some quality home spun, natural mass.

Take your Xanax today? I don't worry about other people at the gym, less they're being dangerous.

I believe bslow2 is another member's alt. I can't prove it, but nobody could be this stupid right off the bat.
Can a mod confirm a duplicate IP?

I know his IP, but am not willing to take the time to figure out who it is.

By real steel do you mean like 25's or what bro? That shit is heavy!

So walking lunges are a modern training idea? Horseshit. There is an obvious benefit to doing walking lunges as opposed to stationary lunging, but I'm absolutely positive you don't understand the biomechanical reasons and kinesiology behind it because you are just a troll who doesn't know dick.

There are also plenty of distinct advantages to implementing stability balls into training programs. Some people go overboard with their implementation, but I have found some very advantageous uses to their inclusion in a resistance training program.

I wouldn't even bother respondin to this crap except that I don't want people actually trying to learn to read this bullshit and acknowledge it as fact.

Boo Hoo Cow Pimp. You ever take a look at some of the lame people using the rubber ball. I dont think you will catch them in the squat rack anytime soon. ROFL.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I think I am going to start a new craze in the gym. Superset a heavy power squat with a set of Rubber ball hip thrusts. It wiill bring that squat to a new high. LOL

Why are you even talking? Half of the people on these forums probaby lift more then you, work harder then you, and more importantly know more about the bodybuilding lift-style then you do.

Exactly...............:suicide:

its also a good idea to remember that not everyone's goal in the gym is to get hyooge. just cause you can't get any pussy and think getting bigger will help you doesn't mean everyone has that problem.

Mike Tyson, Ali, Oscar De Lahoya, and hundreds more all used lunges as part of there training....I guess you know more than they do....and Ali was doing them over 40 years ago son.

What a stupid generalization. I use physioballs sometimes and I spend most of my workouts in a power rack. I could also give you examples of uses for those attempting to get bigger, but I think your head would explode trying to grasp the concept.

Actually, I have my clients do hip thrusting movements all the time. Again, you wouldn't understand why, but it can help people's squat numbers. If you read my writeup on doing a proper warmup maybe you will understand, but I doubt it.

People who use medicine balls in training are, to the best of my knowledge, sacrificing good time that could be better spent doing much more productive exercises.

This is a fallacious argument.

Most new training information is recycled.

Ridicuous post in a ridiculous thread.

I believe otherwise. Medicine balls are good for warmup activities, adding the need to stabilize to an exercise, and certain power movements like a chest pass, slams, reverse tosses, etc.

I still don't know what a power movement is, I mean literally, what the definition is.

DD, whats up bro!

where have you been lately bro? how's school/football going?

What u talk is BS! I know loads of big (muscular) guys who do Swiss Ball, bench press cus it helps to strengthen the core muscles as you dont have a bench to support your back.

A movement where submaximal resistances are moved at maximal velocities. I know you can do this with barbells and dumbbells, but the problem with those items is that you have to expend energy to decelerate them during the concentric portion of the movement. When you throw a medicine ball you don't have to "waste" that energy. Also, medicine balls are usually best implemented to improve the velocity end of the force-velocity curve; more traditional weight training modalities are better used to improve the force production end.

Those exercises that allow for a greater wattage.
