Several times every day, at airports across the country, passengers are trying to walk through security with guns in their carry-on bags, purses or pockets, even in a boot. And it's happening a lot more often. (July 2)

There are so many back-up systems on a plane not to mention the fact the it's already been proven that a bullet through a window does not cause explosive cabin decompression.

The problem isn't the legal gun owners and their legally owned guns. The problem is a small percentage of the population that we need to defend ourselves against. Either way those are the folks that fuck it all up and I'd prefer to use overwhelming force to stop them ruining my day, or flight for that matter.

It cant explain why so many new cases are coming up?

Simple. Its because gun sales have gone through the roof over the past 2 years. which equates to more chances of this happening. Just the law of averages. Its not because TSA is doing its job better or anything along those lines.
