1918. Informal full-length portrait of baseball player Babe Ruth, of the American League's Boston Red Sox, following through after swinging a baseball bat, standing on the field at Comiskey Park

( He was also a great pitcher who holds a few records to this day)

Babe Ruth and Child
This shot, clearly after Ruth had become ill, is one of my all-time favorite baseball photos.
That's what made him great, he was the best with kids. No matter how big he was.

You appear to be a man of great intelligence (and hey, if I'm wrong at least you are a Yankees fan) except there appears to be one missing.... where are the pics of Don Mattingly?

Donnie the Hit man.

One of my favorites....I definitely get him up there.
There's so many great players.

I won't argue that fact. I grew up in Indiana so didn't make it to Yankee Stadium too many times, but I still remember the first time I walked out and saw the field.... man it was awesome

It is beautiful, I also have some pics of the original Stadium, I'll post them tomorrow.

I'm not a real big Yankee fan at all but I do remember Mattingly, and he was a good ball player. I don't know if he was an ass or not, but I thought Paul O Neil was one of the most solid players that the Yanks had.

He doesn't really look that fat there, either. I guess this must have been early in his career.

Most of the Yankee players from that time were good guys.
Paul was hard nosed player, he looked quiet to me but he sure had a temper. I have to add that he had a lot of heart.

He wasn't always fat, I would like to know how he managed to play the outfield later in his career when he became over wieght.
I even heard he played a decent outfield....who knows, with all those writers kissing his butt back then...

It prolly came in that monstrosity of a box when you bought it, too.

The greatest Yankee of all time...
