Ok so now I have the next month off from class and I want to kick my cardio up a little bit. I have been doing it after my workouts but I want to add another session. I need to get as cut as possible this time around for the comp...9% aint gonna cut it for me this time like I got last year.

I am currently lifting at around 12pm then directly after I would hit the cardio. My question is should I wake up earlier and do my cardio at like 8am...then lift at 12pm...then another cardio at night or just do cardio after the weights then again at night? And what form of cardio would you recomend for each session? HIIT, longer with heart rate at about 60-70% max, mix it, what ever happens happens?

And also how should I manage my carbs?

My meal intake is as follows:
Meal 1-shake w/ fats pre workout
Meal 2-post workout shake w/ 60g's carb (grits)
Meal 3-protein carbs (30g's)
Meal 4-protein carbs (30g's)
Meal 5-protein fats
Meal 6-protein fats
***Meal 3 or 4 is sometimes replaced with a trioplex b/c A)it fits with my cal intake and B) I can't always manage a real meal b/c my chedual is crazy.

I know carbs are very imoportant post workout but how important post cardio at night? I don't want any extra carbs in me that will store to fats.

Thanks everyone I know this is a mission to answer but I have faith in everyone here....... :thumb:

if it were me and i had to do 2 cardios a day, i would do a cardio session early in the morning, weights at noon, and then cardio at night. as far as what type of cardio, i would keep it mixed up and just do whatever i felt like at the time ... thats me though

This pretty much summed what I would do too pre-contest if I needed to do two cardios, I never train weights and cardio together.
