Natural Peanut butter?

I've read at musclemag.com that Natural Peanut butter is better for you than the standard J.I.F. stuff. Why is that? Is it a big difference in nutrition? Taste?
 
they will probably say its higher minerals and healthy oils. the difference is going to be small if any at all, unatural peanut butter may be higher in those levels than natural butter.
most studies done between organic and non-organic foods show that non-organic food taste better, looks nicer etc. people only rave about organic foods when they know its organic.
they may say its lower in pesticede residues but these well whats allowed in the uk have never been shown to cause much wrong. remeber its over eating, alcohol, smoking these are the biggest killers not non-organic food.

Actually, the difference is the amount of preservatives and sugar.

Natural peanut butter is an excellent source of essential fatty acids - and contains NO preservatives or added sugar.

JIF is an excellent source of salt and icing sugar.

Take your pick.

PS - I don't plan on being a regular here, but when I saw this post I had to say something.
 
you can get low sugar peanut butter and the peanut nutter i have contains no preservative. unnatural peanut butter will also be excellent source of essential fatty acids as well. most of this organic food is not based on much scientific evidence.

I have been putting 2 tbsp of "JIF" PB in my shakes. Should I just leave this crap out until I can get Natty?

How long have you worked for the FDA?
 
plus natural pb doesnt have hydrogenated fats
