Is it normal to feel nauseated (want to throw up) when/after doing leg exercises? Is it to be expected, or did I probably do something wrong?

- Josh

Hell yeah. Thats shows you working your ass off man congrats also don't look down when doing squats, that can also cause it

Damn last night I felt like crap for about an hour or so after my leg presses, low energy and was not very far from throwing up. Came home, went to sleep, and started to feel better after laying down with a fan on my for awhile, its the worst I've felt in a long time.

If you really push yourself hard ith legs squats/presses, it can really take the life out of you.

My GF does and I know a few that do also. Glad I 'm not in the bathroom or use the bathroom at my gym!

Its not uncommon for me to feel sick after trianing legs and sometmes back. the only time training legs actually made me puke was when I pushed my car up a slight hill for about a mile.:barf:

I can just see your girlfriend sayin I tried to tell you the tank was empty, but did you listen.....................NO!!

Lmao, damn I had forgotten all about that.

After heavy squats All I want to do is go to bed. I dont want to eat and when I do I feel sicker. The day after I stand up I feel like I need a wheelchair

dude feeling sick is half of the fun!! J/k, you can push yourself to the point of puking on everything that you lift. I actually threw up after a chest day once. It was at college and in front of some hot soccer chicks, man it was funny, yet embarasing...

oh man, did they ask if you were drinking? LOL!

On the other hand, would they believe you were lifting thus puking from it.

Sometimes the other world does not underdstand us!?!?!

I was doing shoulders one time and I had to go to the bathroom in the gym and just sit on the floor of it or I wouldve puked for sure.

I love the way people walk back to the locker room after a good leg workout....like they`ve got an itchy ass or something...swaying all over..can`t walk in a straight line....gotta luv it :thumb:

Me too. Leg day is my favorite day in the gym. Some of the best leg workouts ive had are ones where i feel like I'm going to be sick at the end.

Nah actually they were more repulsed than anything. I walked out side of our sports complex, stumbled over to a bench in the grass, and it all just came out. Pretty shitty, and funny all at the same time. :barf:

feeling like you are about to barf is a sign of exhaustion. it shows that you are really pushing yourself to the limit. most of us have probably felt this way one time or another after working out.

i remember there was this one time (in band camp  ) i trained so hard, i had to lie down and couldn't move for about 15 minutes. felt like shit...came REALLY close to upchucking my lunch!...dude, this is bringing back bad memories. :barf:

Interesting way to put it man. I agree with it though.

Yeah, they think what we do to our bodies is a waste of time and looks hideous. So I have to words for them.

F*uck OFF! :rocker:

One thing I've noticed that helps with the sick felling is doing a couple cardio sessions a week.

I cannot seem to figure that one out. What if it's been after a night of heavy drinking? Should you do cardio?

I would do cardio. I have never been and that sitituation before. But I would imagine doing the stepstepper for an hour with a horriable head ache and your brain just feels like it is gettin tossed around and the ringing in your ears would be unbearable. Not like that has ever happened to me.

I just worked my legs hard tonight and... i felt a little nauseated, as well.

If worked really hard that actually is a common symptom experienced by most of us. Especially doing 60 walking lunges!

i never get nauseated tho but its bad enough without wanting to throw up

i take this back....today i did HST and i threwup twice... besides the fact that its 91 degrees and my gym is outside it took me way too long to finish i think like almost 90 mins or 80 mins cuz i had to rest a long time after every workout after i certain point.... starting off with squats wore me out and then going through bench and military pess and abs and everything killed me... im gonna have to figure something out cuz i feel like shit under sumbody's shoe:help:  :toilet:

You threw up twice... err... dang! Must have been one massive workout... jinkies!
