For the past 2 days since my last work out my neck has been stiff. I worked my traps and back and did some military presses. I have a hard time turning my head now. Is this normal and will this stop happening after I have been lifting for a few months? :grumble:

It may pass, it may also be a pinched nerve.

I have had something like that happen and it took a long time for it to pass, probably cause I didn't give it a chance to rest. :finger:

For me, i had to learn NOT do move my head around while doing shoulder and bench work, since I've stopped, I have never had any neck pain again.

yup, especially with exercises lke shrugs.

applying heat may help too.

...and don't let the Viagra get stuck in your throat again! :finger :)

When you have full mobility and are "fully" recovered, consider neck strengthening exercises :D

I had that happen this past summer. Someone ;) told me about this great stuff called Trameel. You can get it at your local Natty Nutrition supplier. Great stuff. :thumb:

Hey Doc, how did you know about the Viagra pill getting stuck? :shhh:

Yeah, heat and ice are my new best friend since I started lifting. I also have some of that sportscreme stuff.

Thanks for the advice, I didn't think I was moving my head around, but the more I think about it, I kept looking at the machine(one of those bars on a slide so you dont F#$% yourself up lifting alone). Also what is that stuff that you were talking about Jodi? I might have to look in to that. :thumb:

It's called Trameel (aka Tramed), from a company called BHI that imports and dristributes it from Germany...it's based on Arnica Montana, compounded homeopathically with other synergistic elements to make a very effective anti-inflammatory topical gel, cream, or internally taken (systemically) as a liquid or tab...I/we recommend the cream or gel for this application :D

OK I will look for that stuff, can you find it at the local walgreens, or do I need to go to GNC or a website?:thumb:
