I just started working out, i dont know much, but ive been making these shakes b/c the protein powder is really expensive, wut do u guys think????

1 scoop protein powder (instead of 3)
1 egg
1 bananna
powdered milk
lowfat milk

well hey bro. one thing 3 scoops why. 1 serving(23g) in 2 cups low fat milk, and a banana is fine. no egg you can get sick as all hell. rocky was wrong on this idea. 1 scoop 2 cups milk 1 banana. you will be set.

well the label says 3 scoops = one serving, but i figured id replace it with the milk....

well i use 1scoop ons whey, which is like 24.00 for 5lbs or 48.00 for 10lbs. which is cheap as hell for protein.

i use 1 scoop, 2 cups milk oats and banana.= 40g protein, 75g carbs, 6g fat, = 516 calories. i am pretty heavy tho so i neeed a lil bit more.

i used to use powdered milk and regular mixed since it is cheap. 2 servings powdered milk, 2 cups milk, 1 scoop your protein. should be fine.

what brand you use?

When do you have these shakes? (eg: after training? Before training? At other times of the day??)... This will dictate what is best to add to them.

Also - How many grams of protein does one serve of that powder offer you? What other things does it have (calories? Carbs? fat?)... It sounds like it might be a weight gainer with that type of serving size...

And if that is the case you want to drop the powder and get yourself something with just protein in it...

Now... other things that are just basic points-
Drop the egg (raw eggs are bad - do a search).

The banana is good.

Use skim milk, not low fat.
