im doing overhead extensions for my tri's but i feel it a lot more in right tricep dont understand why, also whats a heart shaped grip?

Maybe your left arm is weaker so other muscles are compensating for the weakness, taking more stress off the tricep.

I've never heard of a "heart-shaped grip".

i think i figured it out, before i kinda had grip like when u do diamond cut push ups, now i brought my wrist closer together and it seems like the load is more evenly ditributed

So you are doing these with both hands at a time w/ one db?

IMO use 1 DB but alternate arms. For instance, 2x12, do 12 rep's with right, then left, then right, then left. Or, do skullcrushers.

Or dips/weighted dips.

Ive actually had good gains from weighted push-ups with a tricep-focused hand position.

And skullcrushers, yes. Theyre great.

u must also do direct work for triceps dips s not enough though i agree they will help u a lot in the begining but son u will need direct work to keep progress...begin with cable push downs ...starting with skull crushers if u are a beginner is not a good idea because they need high concentration and strict form .......then begin using db's and bb ......that's my opinion ....and good luck
