need some advice n bulking

1 gram

to comment on something earlier, i can't believe that anyone could intake anywhere near 2g protien per lb of body weight per day.. any more than 1g and my digestive system bitches and moans more than i can handle and i feel bloated and sick half the time. Not to mention having to use the bathroom all the time.
Im around 230lbs and 175 to 200g a day is comfortable for me and seems to work pretty well. Any less than that and I notice that it takes a day or two longer to recover from a good session.

Ummmm......

I'm on the cut,and maybe i'm weird but i feel VERY comfortable eating less calories when most of them come from protein.
In fact,it would be almost impossible for me to maintain the calories of 1300-1600 calories if i decreased protein and increased fats or especially carbs.

For example yesterday (lift day) my macros were (F)46.3 (C)61.7 (P)236.4
which is more than double my LBM of protein.

It's not typical,it's a little too high protein day, (it's usually closer to 180-200g) but i actually feel less bloated, when i eat like this, my stomach gets flatter after just a day or 2 and i feel extremely comfortable and never ever hungry.

Is that bad?

I'm not saying that's the way to go,but it works for me,and i tried higher fats and carbs and i just get hungry all the friggin time that way.

Any side effects of eating like this?

what's your carb and fat intake like?

Well to be perfectly honest its really a mess right now.. I try to keep protien intake constant but carbs and fat fluctuate from one extreme to the other. My insane work schedule with no set meal breaks is partly to blame. Id guess that on average Im taking in 50g or less fat. Carbs im not sure, but my problem there is that I eat way too much in the two hours before bed and not nearly enough for breakfast or during the day. i also work 12 hr graveyards which plays all kinds of havoc with sleep and appetite. For quite a while i havent been paying much attention to diet..If i felt that body fat was getting out of hand, i'd start running more and it would get manageable again. But Basically im now starting to tighten up gradually and hopefully within a couple months i'll have myself back on track.

however i must say that ive never paid much attention to carbs..to me it was more when you eat them than how much you eat.

You'll need to use your height, weight, and age, to figure your proper maintenance level of cals, and then take it from there.

thats a pretty basic assumption dont you think? I'm not saying he should get technical, but what about his activity level? If you think about it, would you feed the same way if you sat in an office chair all day, while someone gets you coffee, versus a laborer who works all day hauling bricks and cement?
