male/ 20, looking to bulk up while staying healthy and cut

Add a Multi-vitamin/mineral supplement, continue using the whey protein and focus on your diet and training.

Down the road you can worry about more supplements. At the stage you're at in lifting and your age I do not think you need to worry about any other supplements.

at 5 months of training and 20 years old I just do not hink he needs to focus on any additional supplements, diet and training are far more important, and if one can get those in check they will build an excellent foundation. there is plenty of time in the future for him to add supplements like creatine.

too many beginners get wrapped in in the supplement hype and they never learn how to eat and train properly.

True but creatines fun, cheap and harmless. If creatine gives him a boost mentally or physically then I think it's worth it.

you're missing my point MC.

beginners should focus on the basics, eating and training correctly, because if they're not doing those two things right all of the supplements in the world will not help them.

if beginners would put the same amount of time, motivation and money into learning how to eat and train correctly they would not even need to ask about supplements because they would be too busy growing! :)

I see your point.More youngsters should be more patient with their development and learn that food is the most anabolic natural supplement.Just thought creatine would be some harmless fun :)

Yeah, I take Twinlab daily one without iron. Like Prince said stick to hardcore training and eating habits worrying about supplemention after a bit. :)

Ok thanks for clearing things up. I am very strict on my diet and am eating very healthy. Plenty of protein.

We do not realized that food itself cost money than all the scam sup. Getting the right food and Train hard should be the main goal for the beginners. No one will ever listen to this simple instruction. Newspapers, magazine and tv ads have taken all our life from the nutural things ways of getting to the top. We work hard or go to school but still need all these crappy supp.Wasting money. A lot of guys would not admit how much money spent over stupid supp. Beginners go for FOOD,TRAIN and before joining bandwagon.
Good luck
