Hey guys. I've been training since Novermber, and do to multiple setbacks(sickness, car crashes, etc.) I've only gained 25 pounds9 from 115 to 140), but it's almost all fat free and I think I reduced my bodyfat. Anyways I originally set out to do all this so I would be a better football player. Well now football season is coming up and I'm scared of losing it. 2 a day practices start august 13 and go 'til the 25th when school starts. The season last until the end of october. I will be getting off school every weekday at 2:30 and practice until 5:30. And since I'll be playing both varsity and JV, I will have to be at 17 games total throughout this time, starting both ways on JV and probably at special teams on varsity. Some are on friday nights, some saturdays, some tuesdays after school. I honestly don't know if after 3 hours of hard practicing, I can hang around another hour and lift, plus I'd be the only one and would have to convince my coach to open up the weight room. My quesiton is, will I get smaller and weaker during these 2 and a half months of off time if I decide to take off? Last year I didn't get any lighter, but gained significant strength during this time, without even weightlifting, although I'd never lifted before so I might have just been making begginer gains. I don't want to shrink!!!!
