Hey

Firstly glad I found this place maybe at last I can get ripped.

Just wanna ask a ton of questions if I may..

Firstly I am looking for a system I can work at home as I have neither time or the money to go to the gym.

I am naturally skinny but after a few years of junk food and the age barrier catching up on me I am 37 by the way. I now weigh 13 stone but its mostly in the gut and arse, not a good look.

I am looking to get myself toned, but also bigger can this be done at home?

I know I need a bit of cardio, I know I need to train using weight I know I need the right diet.

I been looking at programs like p90x and insanity but people say they are rubbish.

I am just looking for a complete system I can work at home can anyone please help me out there.

Cheers

Marcus

i'd recommend jogging. It helped me out a TON losing excess weight, get that heart beat pumping. And it's free! P90X is definaetly a workout and it has different stages for beginners and experts so you'll definately get a workout every time, you get out what you put into it. Cheers!

First, get your diet in order. Try posting your current diet and goals in the diet and nutruition forum. Your diet will dictate whether you lose or gain weight not your training routine.

Second, make a training program.

Get the basics, select a method and a form of periodization.

I'd recommend linear periodization, here's an extra article

Decide whether you want your program split or full and read one

Help with your rep ranges

Then post your final routine here for feedback
